Nebraska Game and Parks Commission released the "Nebraska Pond Management handbook" to help pond owners teach themselves how to manage a fishing pond successfully.
"The Nebraska Pond Management handbook" is 96 pages with topics such as the importance of depth, how to build a pond, environmental changes, stocking with fish, successful management, and potential maintenance problems.
You can access "The Nebraska Pond Management Handbook" on the Nebraska Games and Parks website. You must fill out a form before they will let you download it. The information you provide in the form is used to measure the demand and success of the handbook.
